Gardenia blue is a water-soluble natural blue pigment, which is mainly used in food coloring of frozen drinks, jams, pickled vegetables, cooked nuts, candy, instant rice and noodle products, food fillings, bakery filling, batter, seasoning, beverages, concoction wine, puffed food etc. It can be used in the corresponding category of food according to the amount limit in GB 2760 (Chinese Standards for Food Additives).
